Corporeal Beast - the lair boss

The Corporeal Beast is the realm's apex lair boss. It used to double as Lumbridge's world-boss event, spawning on the open ground north-east of the city - that event spawn has been removed. The beast now stands only in its own cave, the same lair it has in OSRS, and the Lumbridge arena waits for the next event boss.

Where it is

• It lives in the Corporeal Beast's cave, at its real OSRS spawn. There is no ::summonboss for it any more and it no longer rotates into Lumbridge.
• ::worldboss and the portal's World Boss Arena entry still take you to the Lumbridge event ground, but the beast is not there.
• The Corporeal Beast entry on the portal's Bosses tab is greyed out until the lair gets its own teleport route.

The fight

It is the genuine article: 2,000 hitpoints and the cache's real combat stats, far tougher than the tuned-down event version was. Protect from Magic (Prayer 37) is strongly advised. Bring a team, or come very well prepared - it is built for groups.

Loot

The beast rolls its real OSRS drop table on death, rather than the pooled damage-split event loot it used to pay:

• Sigils - the Arcane, Spectral and Elysian sigils at their OSRS rarity
• Spirit shield and Holy elixir - the parts of the spirit-shield crafting chain
• Runes, ores, herbs, food and coins as the common rolls

Sigil + blessed spirit shield + 90 Prayer makes the sigil shield - see the Spirit Shield crafting vendor in the market. Because the event spawn is gone, there is no longer a doubled unique rate or an MVP bonus roll; every kill is a straight roll of the table.
