Fall of Varrock

Fallen Varrock (PvM)

From the Fall of Varrock Wiki - What waits in the ruins outside the wars - elite undead, salvage piles, Malachai the Hollow, the Palace Warden and Captain Rovin's Arrav Intelligence assignments.

Varrock is never reclaimed — but it can be worked. Outside the Marches and Campaigns the

ruins are always open: the ambient dead, the four captains, and now a stronger layer for

players who want to live there.

Fallen Varrock is PvP everywhere except the west bank, the east bank and the Grand Exchange

pockets. Bring what you can lose.

Elite undead

The streets north of the square and the palace approach are held by a stronger tier — **Fallen

Legionnaires, Grave Knights, Bone Warlocks, Plague Zombies, Drowned Marines, Wailing Shades and

Screaming Banshees**. Melee ones hit up to 28; the casters bolt from range, the Plague Zombie

poisons, the Shade and Banshee sap prayer. They drop supplies and Varrock salvage, with a

rare Relic of old Varrock.

Salvage piles

Crates lie in the rubble of every district. Search one for 2–5 Varrock salvage and a 1/40

shot at a relic; the pile is bare for a minute and a half afterwards, and the noise sometimes

wakes an elite in the rubble. Salvage and relics are the War-Forging materials the Royal Smith

will take.

Malachai the Hollow

Every twenty minutes or so a hollow knight rises at one of the district centres and the

whole world hears of it. He melees hard (max 30) and every sixth swing wails, sapping a fifth

of the prayer of everyone near him. He lingers ten minutes. Felling him drops two relics,

salvage and supplies, and pays 20 War Effort and 3 Commendations.

The Palace Warden

The palace is the deep, repeatable target. The Palace Warden (900 HP, multi-way) melees for

30 and hurls necrotic bolts (24, drains prayer). Every eighth attack he raises three dead

beside you, and once below half health he calls a Grave Chill — a three-tick warning, then 20

through prayer to anyone still within two tiles. He drops 1–2 relics, 12–20 salvage, dragon

bones and supplies, pays 40 War Effort and 5 Commendations, and one kill in

eight yields a Warden's ember. He returns fifteen minutes after a kill.

Arrav Intelligence

Captain Rovin stands in the west bank pocket. Knights and above (the Cursed Hero quest, once

it lands) can take one assignment at a time:

AssignmentWorkPay
Purge8–13 elite undead in a named district15 War Effort, 2 Commendations, 5 salvage

Assignments complete on their own as you work; ::intel shows the one you hold. Relics and

embers are Collection Log entries; ::kc tracks the Warden and Malachai.
